Waukegan To College students stepped up to read letters to the Waukegan Board of Education explaining why the W2C Program was important to them. They did an excellent job in their public speaking performance, definitely a moment to remember for parents, staff, board members, and other students who attended. Great Job Waukegan To College!
On Saturday April 13th, 2013 Waukegan To College visited the Lake Forest Campus where they took an awesome tour of the college. The tour included a High School Workshop where the students learned more about applying to college. There was also a workshop for parents regarding what Lake Forest has to offer and the importance of getting kids into college. After taking a complete tour of the campus and attending several other workshops (besides the ones mentioned earlier), all students returned to Buchanan Hall for a debrief by the Lake Forest & W2C Staff Members. The kids seemed to really enjoy themselves and were really interested in what this great historical college had to offer!
